What Facebook sync does
Updated 12 July 2026Club plan and up
With your Facebook page connected, a sync runs once a day, automatically - nothing to schedule or trigger.
What it pulls in
- Page details - name, picture, follower and like counts (feeding the Stats widget and shortcodes like
{{facebook_followers}}) - Engagement figures - for your dashboard's analytics
- Your page's events
- Recent posts - shown by the Facebook Feed widget
What it doesn't do
- It's one-way, inbound. Sync pulls from Facebook - it never posts, edits or deletes anything on your page. The only thing that writes to Facebook is you, deliberately, via Export an event to Facebook.
- It's not instant. Want a new post on your site now? Use Sync Now on Connections (or the refresh button beside your events list) rather than waiting for the daily run.
- It doesn't touch your own content. Pages, events and convoys you built on your site are yours; sync never modifies them.
Controls
The Connections page shows when the last sync ran, has the Sync Now button, and a toggle to switch the daily sync off entirely if you'd rather refresh manually.
