Widget guide

Every widget in the Add Widget picker, by category.

Hero & banners

• Hero - full-width opener with a headline, tagline and call-to-action buttons over a background image or video. Most pages want one at the top.
• Banner - a full-width band with a background image, heading, text and buttons. A slimmer, mid-page cousin of the hero.
• Image Split - image on one side, rich text on the other. Good for "about us" sections.

Add a background image or video to a Hero or Banner and an Overlay group appears in its Style tab: darken the image so the words stand out, and choose the Text Colour - Light is the default and puts white text over the darkened image, Theme hands back the heading and body colours from Design for a pale photo.

Content

• Text - a rich-text block for prose, headings or lists.
• Features - a grid of cards highlighting what your club does.
• FAQ - expandable questions and answers.
• Impact - a headline stat with supporting logos and detail.

Media

• Gallery - a photo grid or masonry layout with captions.
• Video - embed a YouTube or Vimeo video.

Events

• Events - an automatic list of your upcoming public events; updates itself as you publish.
• Pinned Events - hand-pick specific events to spotlight.
• Countdown - a live timer counting down to a date, to an event you pick, or to whatever your next event is.

The Countdown's Count Down To control decides what it aims at. A Date is a date and time you type in yourself. An Event lets you pick one of your events. Next Event always tracks whichever published event is soonest, so you set it once and never touch it again. Both event options follow the event itself - reschedule the meet and the timer moves with it, and a repeating event counts down to its next occurrence. Only published events count; drafts and private events won't drive the timer. When there's nothing to count down to, the widget says so instead of showing a stale number.

Community

• Social Links - a row of icons linking to your social profiles (from Club Settings).
• Sponsors - partner and sponsor logos.
• Rules - your club rules from Club Settings, each with its icon. Unlocks once you've written at least one rule.
• Stats - headline numbers from your Facebook page. Needs Facebook connected.
• Facebook Feed - your latest Facebook posts, synced daily. Also needs Facebook connected.
