Add points of interest

Points of interest annotate a drive - the fuel stop before the good bit, the viewpoint pull-in, the café at the halfway mark. They show as amber markers on the map, for you and everyone you share the convoy with.

Adding them

1. In the convoy builder, switch the panel to the Points tab.
2. Click the map where the stop is - a marker drops.
3. Give it a title, a description and optionally a photo.

POIs vs waypoints

POIs are not driven through - they don't change the line:

• Waypoint - "drive via here". Changes the convoy.
• Point of interest - "worth knowing about here". Pure information.

If the convoy should detour to the café, add a waypoint there too. If it just passes close by, a POI is enough.

When the convoy is attached to an event, visitors to that event page see your POIs on the map with their descriptions and photos.
