Link a convoy to an event
A convoy has no public page of its own - it reaches your members by being attached to an event. Link one of your saved convoys to an event and the whole drive renders right on the event page: the interactive map, distance and drive time, turn-by-turn directions with a printable roadbook, and any points of interest.
Linking
- Open the event's Convoy card.
- Pick a convoy from your library.
- Choose how it's used (below), then save.
How is this convoy used?
Once a convoy is picked, choose its role - it changes how the drive is framed on the event page:
- This event is the drive - the route is the main attraction. Use it for a scenic run or a cruise where the drive is the event.
- A companion convoy - an optional group drive running alongside a venue-based event: a run to the meet, a blast afterwards, or a loop around the day.
Visibility follows the event
There's no separate convoy status any more. The drive is visible exactly when its event is - publish the event and the convoy appears; keep the event a draft or private and the convoy stays with it. Make an event recurring and its convoy repeats with it automatically.
Convoys are a library, not part of any one event - attach the same convoy to as many events as you like. See Use a convoy in an event.
