Create a convoy

Convoys is where you plan club drives - road-snapped and reusable. Click Create Convoy, name it, and a short setup wizard opens over the map: pick a convoy type, drop your start point, and go. A convoy goes public by being attached to an event; it has no page of its own.

Start from a famous UK drive

Convoy Templates, above your convoy list, has famous drives ready to go: the Snake Pass, the Evo Triangle, the Bealach na Bà, the Causeway Coastal Route, the North Coast 500 and more. Click one and a new convoy opens with the route, its stops and a description already filled in. Nothing is saved until you click Save, and from then on it's yours to rename, extend or attach to an event like any other convoy.

Templates are routed on Fastest, which keeps the drive on the famous roads. Switching to Scenic Route is allowed, but it may take the drive off them between stops.

The four convoy types

• A to B - an open drive through your points, start to finish.
• Loop (draw your own) - runs through your points and closes back to the start automatically.
• There & Back - runs out to the far point and returns the same way. Good for a blast to a viewpoint or café.
• Auto Loop - give it a start point and a target distance, hit Generate Loop, and it builds a circular drive with three variants to pick between. The same start and distance always produce the same loops, so you can regenerate without losing what you liked.

You can switch type later - your points are kept when moving between A to B, Loop and There & Back.

Each convoy has an Overview (details and the directions list) and a Builder - the full-screen map where the shaping happens; click the map preview to enter it. See Shape your convoy.

Limits

Saved convoys are plan-limited - the counter sits on the Convoys list, and a convoy started from a template counts once it's saved. See Plan limits explained.
