Attach a custom domain
Updated 9 July 2026Club plan and up
Own yourclub.co.uk? Point it at your club site and that becomes the address your members see. Your your-club.motorev.club subdomain keeps working alongside it.
You'll need a domain you've already bought from a registrar (the place you manage its settings) - we don't sell domains. Custom domains unlock with your first paid period; they're not available during the trial.
Attaching
- Open Club Settings and find the custom domain section.
- Enter your domain - either the bare domain (
yourclub.co.uk) or a subdomain of it (www.yourclub.co.uk). - The panel shows the exact DNS records to add at your registrar - typically an A record for a bare domain or a CNAME for a
www.-style one, copied straight from the panel. Occasionally a verification record is listed too; add whatever's shown. - Add those records in your registrar's DNS settings, then come back and hit Re-check.
The waiting part
DNS changes take time to spread - usually minutes, occasionally a few hours, worst case a day or two depending on your registrar. "Not yet propagated" just means not yet: nothing's wrong, check again later. Once verified, HTTPS is set up automatically - no certificates to buy or renew.
Good to know
- Search engines treat the custom domain as your site's canonical address once it's active.
- Removing the domain reverts everything to your MotoRev subdomain - no harm done.
- Stuck beyond a day? Double-check the records match the panel exactly (a stray extra
wwwor a proxied/orange-cloud setting at the registrar are the usual culprits).
