Choose a subdomain

Updated 9 July 2026

Your subdomain is the first part of your club site's address: pick apex-drivers and your site lives at apex-drivers.motorev.club. You choose it during signup.

The rules

  • 3–40 characters
  • Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens only
  • Can't start or end with a hyphen
  • Some names are reserved (for example app, help, admin) and offensive terms are blocked
  • It must be unique - and hyphens don't make it unique. If north-west-cruisers exists, northwestcruisers is considered taken too, and vice versa. This stops two near-identical club addresses confusing members

The signup form checks availability as you type, so you'll know straight away.

What it controls

The subdomain is only your site's address - it doesn't have to match your club's display name, and you can change the display name any time in Club Settings without affecting the address.

Want your own domain?

You can attach a domain you own (like apexdrivers.co.uk) on top of the subdomain - see Attach a custom domain. Your MotoRev subdomain keeps working alongside it.
