Export an event to Facebook

If your club's Facebook page is connected, you can push an event straight to it - no retyping.

What gets sent

• The event's name, date and time
• The write-up, converted to plain text (Facebook doesn't take formatting)
• A link back to the event's page on your club site
• Your club rules, if the event's Include Club Rules option is on

How

1. Save the event's details and set its date.
2. Click Export in the event planner.

Good to know

• Export works on every plan - it's the daily automatic sync (pulling Facebook activity into your site) that's plan-gated, not this.
• Edits made after exporting aren't pushed automatically - re-export or update the Facebook copy by hand.
• The link between the two is remembered, so your site knows which Facebook event matches which club event.
