Publish and share an event

Every event has a public page at your-club.motorev.club/events/your-event - countdown, venue map with directions, timetable, layout, photos and share buttons, all styled with your theme. Whether people can see it depends on the event's status.

The three statuses

Switch status from the dropdown in the planner's top bar - it saves instantly:

• Draft - the default for new events. Admin-only; the public address returns "not found".
• Public - live for everyone, listed by your site's Events widgets, and included in your sitemap for search engines.
• Private - the page exists but asks for a password first. Switching to Private generates one for you (you can change it in Details). Share the link and the password with the people who are invited - unlocked browsers stay unlocked.

You'll be asked to confirm before taking a live event back to draft - anyone holding the link would lose access.

Sharing

The Share block on the Details tab has the page link and a Copy Link button. It warns you if the event is still a draft (the link won't work yet) or if you have unsaved changes (the page won't match what you're looking at).

Visitors get their own share buttons on the page - copy, WhatsApp and Facebook - plus Add to Calendar (Google Calendar or a calendar file for everything else), so the date lands in their diary, not just their memory.
