Feature an event

Got a headline event - the annual show, the big charity run? Feature it and it jumps the queue.

What featuring does

• The event sorts to the top of your site's automatic Events widget, ahead of everything else regardless of date.
• It wears a Featured star badge on your public site, so it reads as the big one at a glance.

How

1. Open the event's Details tab.
2. Turn on the Featured toggle.
3. Save.

Feature sparingly - one starred event stands out; five starred events is just a list again. For hand-picking a specific set of events to showcase on a page (rather than boosting one in the automatic list), the Pinned Events widget is the better tool - see the widget guide.
