Create a route
Routes is where you plan club drives - road-snapped, shareable, reusable. Click Create Route, name it, and the route builder opens over a map with a short setup wizard: pick a route type, drop your start point, and go.
The four route types
- A to B - an open route through your points, start to finish. The classic run to a destination.
- Loop (draw your own) - routes through your points and closes back to the start automatically. You shape the loop; it handles the return leg.
- There & Back - routes out to the far point and returns the same way. Good for a blast to a viewpoint or café.
- Auto Loop - the lazy Sunday option: give it just a start point and a target distance, hit Generate Loop, and it builds a circular drive for you - with three variants to pick between. Same start and distance always produce the same loops, so you can regenerate without losing what you liked.
You can switch type later - your points are kept when moving between A to B, Loop and There & Back.
Two screens per route
Each route has an Overview (details, directions list, sharing, SEO) and a Builder (the full-screen map where the actual shaping happens - click the map preview to enter it). See Shape your route for the builder.
Limits
Saved routes and monthly route calculations are plan-limited - the counters sit on the Routes list and recalculations only count when they succeed. See Plan limits explained.
