Club settings overview

Club Settings holds everything that describes the club itself. It's worth filling in early, because these fields feed everywhere: your header and footer, widgets, shortcodes, search results and social shares all pull from here.

The sections

• General - club name, description, logo, founded year, plus Display Preferences like your distance unit. The logo is a single upload that feeds your header, footer, social share images and your site's browser icon.
• Contact - contact email and phone. Shown in your footer (if enabled) and available as shortcodes and header buttons.
• Public Site - search snippet defaults for your site, and the whole-site privacy setting. See Make your site private.
• Club Rules - your rules list. See Write your club rules.

The progress helper

The panel beside the form tracks how complete your settings are, with a checklist of what's left - it feeds the setup checklist on your dashboard too. 100% here means your site never renders an awkward blank where a logo or contact line should be.

Saving

One save bar covers the whole page - it appears when anything differs from what's stored, and the section navigation highlights where you are. Unsaved changes prompt before you leave.
