Link a route to an event

Updated 9 July 2026Club plan and up

Running a drive as part of an event - a convoy to the venue, a scenic loop after the meet? Link one of your saved routes to the event and its public page gains a route card: the map preview, distance and duration, with a click through to the full route page.

Linking

  1. Open the event's Details tab.
  2. Under the ride route setting, pick a route from your library.
  3. Save.

The one rule worth knowing

The route card only shows publicly when the linked route is itself public. A draft or password-protected route stays hidden from the event page - the event doesn't leak it. If you're wondering why the card isn't showing, check the route's own status first. See Publish and share a route.

Reuse is the point

Routes are a library, not part of any one event - the same route can be linked to this year's run, next year's, and a Sunday social in between. Build it once, link it wherever. The connection works from the other side too: see Use a route in an event.
